ABMB feels strongly that any project must begin with the collection of accurate and thorough data of the site’s current conditions. Precise survey and mapping are key to the success of the overall project. ABMB’s team has nearly unmatched experience in this field and in a variety of terrains and conditions. In fact, when ABMB undertook the effort to complete a detailed survey of the Barataria Basin marsh as preparation for a freshwater diversion project designed to restore and maintain the Cypress Tupelo Swamp, a survey of such scale had never been attempted because standard GPS techniques were impossible to utilize in these challenging conditions.
Not only did ABMB complete this successfully in 2003, and the subsequent diversion project, but the Louisiana Department of Natural Resources asked us to return in 2010 to gather further information in order to implement the next phase of their marsh and coastline recovery plans.
In addition, ABMB has an in-house staff of real estate specialists to provide title research, relocation assistance and real estate acquisition services.
