This position is responsible for filling an operator position in the Traffic Management Center in New Orleans, LA for day, evening, and overnight shifts on an as-needed basis. The position requires the monitoring of traffic and traffic incidents using cameras and coordination with Motorist Assistance Patrols in the area. The operator will inform area police of traffic incidents and provide information to the traveling public using the resources available at the Traffic Management Center. The ideal candidate will have good computer skills, have good verbal and written communication skills and be able to multi-task in stressful situations.
