Mike is responsible for our civil works and real estate divisions, and serves as ABMB’s Administrative Principal, overseeing the accounting and human resources activities of the firm. In addition to being a licensed engineer in four states, Mike has an M.B.A. from Louisiana State University.
He’s been the Principal-In-Charge on numerous large projects for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Louisiana Department of Natural Resources, including the Manchac Area Shoreline Restoration and the Comite Freshwater Diversion Canal projects.
Mike served as the President and National Director of the American Council of Engineering Companies-Louisiana Chapter, and has been a member of the Society of American Military Engineers’ Vicksburg and Louisiana posts for many years.
A few years ago, Mike created a program that brought working engineers to more than 300 fifth grade classrooms. The goal: to show students that math could be fun and interesting. For his contributions to education, Mike received the Charles M. Kerr Public Relations Award from the Louisiana Engineering Society.
