John M. Rainwater, III

Leading the Mississippi Traffic operations, John is a veteran of the industry. In addition to traffic signal design and operations, he specializes in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Work Zone Traffic Control and highway safety. John was named an associate in the firm in 2009.

Some of John’s project management roles have included the signal replacement project for US 90 along the Mississippi coast after Hurricane Katrina, a major update of Crash Data used by Mississippi DOT’s Safety Analysis Management Systems (SAMS), and two complex signal and fiber optic projects along a US 49 evacuation and US 90.
